DMCA Notification Policy

FirstBite TV respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content embedded on the Service infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below.

A note on what we actually host

FirstBite TV hosts zero video. Every episode embed on the Service is served by a third-party partner — typically the rights holder itself (a streaming network), an authorized YouTube channel operated by the rights holder, or the Internet Archive’s curated public-domain TV collection. In most cases removing the source upload at the partner will be faster than a takedown here. We will still process a valid DMCA notice promptly either way.

How to submit a notice

To submit a DMCA takedown notice, send an email with the subject line DMCA Notice to:

johnkrochman@krochmanholdingsinc.com

Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (title, year, network of origin, and a URL to a reference copy if available).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing — at minimum, the full firstbitetv.com URL of the show page on which the offending embed appears.
  4. Contact information for the complaining party: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and a reply email address.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Response time

We aim to action valid notices within 24 hoursof receipt. The corresponding show page is removed from the directory and the embed is severed; outbound referral links may remain live for a short cooldown period so any in-flight redirections don’t hard-break for end users.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Send it to the same address with the subject DMCA Counter-Notice and include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and the firstbitetv.com URL where it previously appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district in which you reside (or, if outside the U.S., a district in which we may be found).
05

Repeat infringers

Because the Service has no account system and never accepts user-uploaded video, there is no end-user repeat-infringer ban to apply. We do, however, suspend any partner relationship under which two or more substantiated DMCA notices accumulate within a 12-month window, pending review.

06

False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Please make sure you have the legal authority to issue a takedown before doing so.
